As promised for Soul Food Sunday here is the oxtail tutorial! These are made my way, I know there are tons of ways to make oxtails so I just had to clarify 😂 they were an absolute hit though 10/10 recommended trying. Ingredient list and seasonings listed below!

Good music, good food and even better drinks. If you’re looking for a fun brunch big or small I’d say this is a great place to try.

Y’all is it too hot for pot roast??? I mean I love a good roast so it’s getting made year round in my house but what about you guys? 😂 I feel like pot roast is perfect for Sunday dinner and this was actually one of my best, it was so tender I was able to shred it with one hand and the flavor was unmatched! This is also step one to making those delicious pot roast cupcakes in my previous post, I’m gonna drop tutorials for each component. Let me know what you guys think

Rise n shine! It’s giving McDonalds mango pineapple smoothie but good for you with actual nutrients 😂 I added some ginger for a boost and peaches because why not? And yes I like my smoothies as thick as me but if that’s not your style feel free to add more juice. I would shout out my blender but @ninjakitchen hasn’t tapped in with me yet 👀Ingredients listed below.

1/2 cup of frozen mango
1/2 cup of frozen pineapple
1/2 cup of frozen peaches
1-2 tsp of ginger (I use frozen cubes for convenience)
1 1/2-2 cups of mango orange juice (I use a blend)

So recently I’ve been obsessed with Key Lime Pie, I had it while dining at one of my favorite restaurants and immediately started thinking about how I could recreate it at home and here we are! This was so fun and easy to make I might have to do a tutorial.

Side note: Y’all know I lived in Florida for 4 years, traveled to the keys multiple times and never liked key lime pie until now? 😂

Y’all I wanted a good pesto pasta with shrimp scampi vibes so I ended up with the best of both worlds with this pesto shrimp scampi served with linguine. If I’m being honest I was holding off on posting because as delicious as the final product was, it just wasn’t aesthetically pleasing lol y’all know we eat with our eyes first and I wasn’t tryna hear NOTHING! I need y’all to see my food and immediately drool 😂 but it really was an amazing dish so I couldn’t let that hold me back. I was just fooling around so no recipe for now unless y’all are really interested.

Have y’all ever made greens in a pressure cooker? This one is for my quick and easy people, usually my greens take at least 3 hours and this cuts it down to 45 minutes! This was my first time trying them in my pressure cooker bc I was short on time and I was a little nervous because as y’all know I strongly believe in spending some extra time when it comes to a quality meal 😂 BUT I was pleasantly surprised these were still pretty great. Stovetop greens along with a full comparison otw of course but in the meantime if y’all need greens fast, this is it! Ingredients listed below.

Okay y’all so check it out I know yesterday was Fish Friday but these catfish steaks are so good you’ll wanna eat them every day of the week 😂 Do y’all prefer catfish steaks or fillets? I usually go with fillets because I hate dealing with the bones BUT the steaks are definitely a hit and the grocery store was not feeling fillets this week. Seasonings used were salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika and I make my own fish fry but feel free to use your favorite store bought one. And I already KNOW somebody is gonna try and drag me for using paper towels to catch the grease but until I get a rack this is how I do it in Ken’s Kitchen and you are free to do it your way in yours 😂 Also I’ve got something under my sleeve for everyone requesting full recipes please be patient and until then y’all better enjoy these tutorials!!!
